Escape

There were times, when I just wanted to be in my own world, own space, without a care for the people and things around me.
"There are too much problems to settle."
"This is not the way things are supposed to be like."
"Why am I not successful?"

We ask these questions, and we refuse to face the facts in life.

Life isn't easy.
Life has it's own share of difficulties.
And it gets even more complicated as we get older.

We are given more responsibilities.
Burdens of family and friends share the weight on our shoulders.
Tasks and deadlines are thrown at us at a constant pace.
Stress builds up and we fall apart.

We "escape" into a world where we feel that none of it has happened.
And we fade into a trap which pulls us deeper and deeper into itself.

But we are meant to conquer and take dominion over our lives.
We have the authority and ability to control what happens to us.
Our feelings, emotions, thoughts all can be controlled by us.

Ignorance will aggravate our problems and make them more severe.
Falling mindlessly out of reality will only make life worse as we fail to find the solutions.
We fail to face the fear of failure.

Courage is not defined as having no fear at all.
Instead, courage is defined as the ability to have the faith and strength to face fear even though it may be difficult.

Yes, the walls may be difficult to break down, the mountains may be too hard to climb.
Situations may be out of hand, relationships may be falling apart.

But have the courage.
Courage to look at the future and say, "It will work out fine."

Stop trying to escape reality.
Bear the courage.
Face your fears.
